Your Wedding is a major investment of time, effort and money.
We are
full-time
professional Wedding photographers who have demonstrated the ability to
capture your
moments
of
a lifetime every time.
My name's Cal Colborne and along with my daughter Jenn and our
associate photographers Karen and Eve we've photographed over 1600
Weddings. We are Ontario's most experienced
Wedding photography team.

Does
my photographer work with an assistant?
Because one photographer can't be
everywhere at the same time I always prefer to work with a skilled
assistant.
My assistants don't carry my bags, they're accomplished
Wedding Photographers in their own right.
While I focus on the bride and
groom, my assistant
captures the candid reactions and special moments with friends and
family.
With 2 experienced photographers available at all times we
cover
every moment of your special day.

What
style does my photographer shoot?
I'm first and foremost a storyteller. My background in
photojournalism and fashion blends both to create a collection
of images that
will make you
smile, laugh, and treasure every moment of your day.
My goal is to enhance your enjoyment of the day while creating a
collection of images that tells your Wedding story
moment by moment.
I want your images to be a treasured memory for your
life together and for future generations.

What
are the time limits on my coverage?
None. I don't
place any fixed time limits on your coverage.
By
devoting
the day to your Wedding, I can give you my full attention and easily accommodate changes or
delays
to your schedule without extra charges.

What
Wedding Day coverage is included?
I like to start your coverage with the Bride's final
preparations, usually
about 2 hours or so before the ceremony (my assistant can do the same
thing
at the same time with the groom if they're not too far away) and
continue through the first
dances at the reception, without fixed time limits.
And if you can do your garter and bouquet toss within an hour or so of
the first dances we'll stay and cover those too.
I'm quite flexible, if you have a special request just let me
know.

Are
there travel or mileage charges?
Working
from Muskoka enables me to provide Wedding Photography in Gravenhurst,
Bracebridge,
Huntsville, Bala, Port
Carling, Barrie, Orilla, Parry Sound,
Minden, Haliburton, Peterborough, Bancroft and
more without
mileage or travel charges.
If you're more than about 200 km
from
Bracebridge please check with me anyways. I
like to travel and my travel
surcharges are very reasonable.

How
many images will I receive?
We
take as many as it takes to
cover your day completely.
There is simply no
limit
on the number of photos and there are no extra charges for special
requests.

my photographer have back up equipment?
Unlike many
(very brave)
photographers who work alone with just
a single camera we have at least five professional grade
cameras ready to go at all times.
This
ensures instantly available
back up during every moment of your Wedding Day.
With 2 photographers and multiple cameras available at all times, we've
got your day covered!

Do you shoot black and white or special effects?

Digital
photography permits any image to be black & white, sepia, soft
focus or any special effect
without affecting the original image.
I
include a number of selected digitally enhanced images
with every Wedding.

How
long does it take to see my pictures?
Your online
album will be available in about 3 weeks.
Your DVDs will be ready about a week after that.
You get your
photos in weeks, not months.

Does
my photographer hold my negatives hostage?
Not here! Your High
Resolution
digital negatives are yours to keep on DVD.
Your digital negatives are fully enhanced, unmarked
and ready to print wherever you like.
Important
Note:
Many
photographers provide
only low quality digital negatives that may not be suitable
for printing at all sizes.
I provide your digital negatives
sized
to
permit printing wherever you like at any size up to 11x14 inches.

you offer books or albums?
I
offer a full line of
books, albums
and packages. Please check the special offers further down
this page.
If you have a
special request I deal with every major album supplier and will work
with you to create any custom album, coffee table book or package that
you can dream or desire.

Do you charge extra for an internet album?
Never. I
provide an
Internet Wedding Gallery and Slideshow for
every wedding
so you and your
guests can view or order
your photos from anywhere in the world, at any time of day or night.
This is particularly
convenient
for guests from outside the area. or who were not able to attend.
